The LiViliti Healthy Hose Pro Antimicrobial CPAP Tubing

The Healthy Hose Pro is the first antimicrobial CPAP tubing ever designed. The antibacterial CPAP tube is designed to avoid and eliminate up to 99.99% of all germs.

Some CPAP users find the tubing restricts their movements and prevents them from sleeping peacefully. It is possible to connect CPAP to a tubing connector that stretches the tubing further such that you can sleep comfortably in your desired position. The adapter extends your range of movement and lets you move while sleeping in any position. The adapter increases the range of movement and helps you breathe better.

Frequently Asked Questions About Tubing Connector & Adapters

What is a CPAP Hose?

A CPAP hose is a cylindrical tube that connects the CPAP machine to the CPAP mask. The CPAP machine pressurizes the air and directs it to the mask via the hose. There are two kinds of CPAP hoses:

Standard Hose: A standard hose is 6 feet long and does not have heating coils. If the CPAP machine has a heated humidifier, it circulates humidified air through the hose to the mask, causing condensation inside the hose. This is due to the air gradually cooling as it passes through the hose and is sometimes referred to as "rainout" in a standard hose.

Heated Hose: It is a 6-foot-long tube with heating coils positioned all along its length. The coils are heated to prevent the air from cooling as it passes through the hose.  This reduces condensation in the tube and eliminates “rainout”.

Is CPAP Tubing Compatible with All Masks?

Yes, CPAP tubing is generally considered universal, which means that it is compatible with any mask and machine. The ResMed AirMini is an exception and can only be used with ResMed AirMini hoses.

How to Clean CPAP Tubing

The tube's outside can be cleaned with mild soap and water, and the inside can be cleaned with a tube brush. Rinse the tube after running mild soap and water or vinegar through it. Allow it to completely dry before using it again.

What are the Dimensions of CPAP Tubing?

CPAP hoses are typically 6 feet long.  Because they are manufactured to the same standards, the connection point for the hose on a CPAP mask and machine is universal. All CPAP hoses have a 22mm connection cuff to fit all masks.
