The Inogen One G5 POC is a lightweight device, weighing only 5 pounds, and is perfect for travel as it is FAA-approved for use on airplanes, cruise ships, and other forms of transportation. This POC can deliver oxygen in six pulse dose settings. It works at a quiet operation of 38 dBa to give users a peaceful environment when receiving oxygen therapy. 

Inogen One G5 Portable Oxygen Concentrator Has Breath Detection Alert

Just like other Inogen POCs, this device also includes Breath Detection Alert Mode. This mode alerts users when it has not detected a breath for more than one minute. An alarm will audibly and visibly sound. After 60 seconds of no breath detection, the G5 will go into the auto-pulse mode to deliver metered oxygen in intervals until the breath is detected again. Once there is another breath, the G5 will provide oxygen as usual. 

Inogen G5 Oxygen Concentrator Has a Long-lasting Battery

Users can choose a single or double battery at checkout. The single battery provides up to 6 hours of battery life (at the lowest pressure setting). The double battery provides up to 13 hours of battery life (at the lowest setting). 

This POC also comes with both AC and DC power cords to give users the ability to plug in many places. The battery will provide power as a backup source in case there’s an external power failure. 

Users will be alerted when there are only 10 minutes of battery life left so that the POC can be plugged into an external power source. The battery status is also on the panel display. 

Safety Features Included With Inogen G5 Portable Oxygen Concentrator

There are several alarms built-in to this POC to alert them when something may be wrong. These alarms are audible and visual to accommodate all types of users. Here are some examples of alerts:

• Low Priority Alert = Solid yellow light and two audible beeps
• Medium Priority Alert = Flashing yellow light and three audible beeps every 25 seconds
• High Priority Alert = Flashing yellow light and five audible beeps every 10 seconds
